This vanity set is in superb condition. The lipstick tube is reflecting the studio lights as it is cylindrical. Both items are adorned with lustrous crimson enamel. The compact mirror is decorated with an enchanting floral bouquet and it is suitable for use with loose face powder or as a handbag mirror. The interior case contains an excellent clear mirror. The mirror frame is signed 'REGENT OF LONDON MADE IN ENGLAND'. The powder well contains the original waxed paper insert. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The base has an engine turned design of diamond shapes.The highly polished brass is lacquered and so no cleaning will be required to maintain its attractive appearance. The original black felt lined pouch and sifter are in place. The compact measures 7.3 cm and weighs 60.9 grams. The lipstick holder measures 5.5 cm and weighs 9.9 grams.
Even the original presentation case is in good order. The interior case is lined with clean white satin and signed 'REGENT OF LONDON' in gilt lettering as well as the crown logo.
